Tsinghua University is planning to build a closer relationship with the prestigious University of Oxford. According to an agreement signed on Friday (22/4), the universities will conduct academic research projects and facilitate exchanges of faculty and students in the next five years.The two universities will also co-host seminars and workshops, making academic materials and publications more accessible to faculties and students at the two universities. The president of Tsinghua University expressed his view towards the cooperation, "The exchange of faculties and students can create great ideas." It is eveident that China has pushed its universities to be more internationalized.

清华大学正计划与享负盛名的牛津大学建立更紧密的关系。两间大学於星期五签署协议，同意在未来五年，共同进行学术研究计划，并增加双方学院、学生的交流。两间大学亦将合办研讨会(讲座)及工作坊，开放一定权限予双方学院及学生，让他们更容易取得学术材料及刊物。清华大学校长对此发表意见:"学院学生的交流能激发思维。" 这表示，中国正推动国内大学步向国际化。
